Inspiration

So basically I want to share where I got the idea that's sending me into this insanity spiral. My chemistry teacher was talking about how he took a year off school to work for a company that did safety inspections of powerplants and sewage treatment facilities and things and he was talking about all the safety gear he had to wear to deal with all the chemicals and things and said something along the lines of "It was like a knight's armor, except it rattled less." So then i was just like BAM! High fantasy/post-apocalyptic cross over type thingy. And ideas have been jumping around my head ever since.
