Kichwa: Vaguely humanoid species, with tough skin ranging in color from deep blue to dark green. Eye color varies widely, and is the main indicator for an individual's "beauty" or "attractiveness." Mature adults have a deeply ridged fan on the back of their head. Younger individuals have horn-like protrusions that later grow into fans. Although very similar to humans as far as body structure goes, they are actually much more hardy. Their bones are incredibly thick, and their muscles are much more wiry and resistant to wear and tear. Their planet is a desert wasteland (coughcoughtatooine) with a single, developed city full of ship hangers and towering buildings. In the heart of the city is a huge, clear dome full of lush plant life from all over the galaxy. The species is known for being extremely untrustworthy. One saying states that a Kichwa would sell his own grandmother into slavery if the price was right.
Jumbe, a young Kichwa who has yet to develop a head fan
Kubwa, another young Kichwa
(warning, I had this description written out already, so it's a lot longer)
I mostly pulled from the idea of Angels for this one :P
Species Name: Andara
Adjective: Andarian
Andara look like humans in basic body shape, but they are actually significantly different organisms. Like humans, they are bipeds with two arms, two eyes, and one mouth. However, unlike humans, Andara have large wings protruding from their shoulder blades. These wings are much too proportionally small to actually allow the Andara to fly. Andarian wings come in various colors, depending on which clan the individual originated from. The six color variations come from six different ancestors: Voe of the White wings, Geon of the Gray, Rowen of the Brown, Vena of the Black, Gyali of the Gold, and Tala of the Red. Most Andara have children only within their clan, so most wing colors have remained pure. A few mixed-wing Andara exist and are tolerated, but their parents’ choices to mate outside their clans are frowned upon.
Andara are also vegetarians, not omnivores like humans. Because of this, Andara have much flatter teeth. Their internal organs are also significantly different than humans. Their three stomachs take up a large portion of their body. These stomachs developed to properly digest and absorb nutrients from the vegetation that makes up the Andarian diet. Their heart is also much larger than the average human heart. Instead of four chambers, each heart has eight, allowing them to pump twice as much blood. Andara lungs are much less delicate than human lungs, so they tend to retain less injuries and diseases.
The most unique feature of the Andara is a small organ, located next to their heart. This organ allows energy to take physical from, but only with a very fervent wish. Andara are only born with wings because of their organ’s process of turning wishes and energy into tangible things. They are only born with wings because the notion of wings is so ingrained in their species subconscious. When a child is conceived, it has the basic appearance of a human baby at the same stage. Once the child’s brain has developed enough and has connected with a fully functioning wish organ, it begins to think only of its ancestors and how its wings are to form. All of this is involuntary and automatic, unless there is something seriously wrong with the child’s brain or wish organ. Once its DNA reminds it of its ancestors and their parents’ clan and color, and then the child can begin bringing the wings into existence. Now, the organ can only do so much throughout an individual’s lifetime. Most Andara lose almost all of their energy before they are born by creating their wings. Therefore, they are unable to wish anything else into existence.
Planet Name: Andaria
Andaria is made up of one large planet and one smaller moon. The moon is not spherical because it is actually a piece of the main planet that broke off. It doesn’t orbit the main planet like a typical moon. It is anchored to the main planet via a huge network of vines and tree trunk-like plants.
Lucertola: My lizard babies!!! Ahem. I designed them after Hork-Bajir from Animorphs. Too lazy to do a proper description, so instead I'll post pictures :DD
I used lots of different animals for references in designing these babies.....
Laku and her baby, Injo (she's basically my obligatory self-insert character) She's got the typical female head spikes and outward-curving tail spikes (called faldas)
Typical male Lucertola with his big, manly falda.
Other Species I'll go into detail about some other time include:
- Fuck I forgot their names, but it starts with a "V"
- Something else....uhhhh based on those creepy guys from Battlestar Galactica....or was it Babylon 5?
- Humans :DD Like.....regular humans. On earth. Yup.
- Other things I can't remember........the jello guys.......yeah......

^.^ I liked the end muahaha
ReplyDeleteahaha, yup XD I need to remember all that shit and post it before I forget again.
